All debutante candidates are required to volunteer a minimum of three hours. Most volunteer opportunities consist of assisting at concerts, other art-related cultural events, and fund-raising events.
The program tries very hard to instill the importance of volunteerism and altruism in the girls that participate, so that they will go on to be civic minded, open-hearted, and kind while giving back to the community that serves them. |
